To make the administrative side of Amigos Competitions go that much easier and lessen the burden on the Organisers it is appreciated receiving your Bank Transfer payments and hope that for those of you who have not participated with this method you will do so in a regular manner. Please!

Due to a Major Spanish Competition at Altorreal, our game scheduled for 9th May has been brought forward 1 day and will now be on WEDNESDAY, 8th May

The take up of places for the Amigos Anniversary Cup to San Juan in May’24 has been overwhelming, however, we do have a few places remaining to reach our target so if you would like to join us please do let us know soonest. You will find all of the details on the ‘Anniversary Cup’ pages on this site.

Your take up of the Spanish Federation ‘Licence to Play Golf in Spain’ has been very encouraging but for those yet to heed the recommendations please do so and if you need any advice please ask us.

Due to a GNK Competition, 2 x Amigos fixtures at the end of the year have been reversed. Thursday 31 Oct’24 will now be at El Valle and Thursday 05 Dec’24 at Hacienda Riquelme.

It’s great to receive so many new enquiries for Amigos Golf Membership and from all different areas. If the popular times and courses are showing fully booked remember to let us know as we can add you to a reserve list, there are always one or two withdrawals nearer the competition times.

The Race to La Finca has produced its first monthly winners for Jan’24 and already presented with their special edition golf balls are 1st Place Paul Best, 2nd Place, Ron Weller, and 3rd place shared by Billy Cashman and Hans Beque. The major prizes will be announced at the end of the year.

Please check your booking details on the Anniversary Cup / Bookings tab and update us if you want anything changed or added (incl special dietary requirements). This info will be used for your Hotel reservation so please ensure it is correct.

IMPORTANT - From 2024, it is a legal requirement for all golfers that are residents or have an NIE to have 12 month SGF golf insurance. The 1 day licences are not officially available to cover you as they are only intended for visitors without an NIE.
