Hi all
Another great Amigos day at El Plantio, but what a shame about those Yellow tees being so far forward and not even having been mowed, they didn't tell us anything about that before the game 🙁.
Nonetheless, it did make for some terrific scoring with all our winners scoring in the FORTIES (for which a few savage handicap adjustments have been the result); lets see how everyone got on: -
Individual Category 1
Honourable mentions only for Alan Kilminster, Alan Evans, Tony Murphy & Brian Platt with 36 pts & even Colin Walters with 37 pts. The two best scores of the day were in this category and could only be separated by handicap:-
Winner :  Chris Hamilton  : 43 points (10.6 H/cp)

Runner-up : Declan Shaughnessy : 43 points (11.7 H/cp)

Third : Kevin Scott : 40 points
Individual Category 2
Cat 2 proved even tougher, with only mentions starting at 38pts for Sus Tonnisen and 39pts for Richard freer, Henrik Tonnisen & Paul Best. Once again, the winners were only separated by handicap: -
Winner : Poul Friis Hansen : 42 points (21.5 H/cp)

Runner-up : Jane McDonald : 42 points (27.2 H/cp)

Third : Diane Nicholls : 41 points

Team Competition
Magic 7's can be tough with all 4 to score and a theoretical par of +18, but those forward tees seemed to help and 6 of our teams bettered par :-
Winners : Team 8 : +31 points
Chris Hamilton, Terry McCartney, Sus Tonnisen & Jane McDonald

Runners-up: Team 3 : +26 points

Steve Fitzpatrick, Kevin Scott, Richard Freer, Lorna Shaughnessy (ghost)

Other team scores were: Team 11 = +24pts, Team 5 = +21pts, Teams 2 & 12 = +19pts, Teams 4 & 7 = +15pts, Team 1 = +9pts, Team 6 = +8pts.

Charity 2's

• Hole 7: Declan Shaughnessy

• Hole 9: Chris Hamilton

No NTP's this week.

Coming up next we have Serena Golf on 5th November (no fireworks please), followed by Mar Menor on the 12th November.
Many thank yous as always to all of the Amigos Organisers and Helpers whether at the course or behind the scenes who contributed to the smooth running of the event.
Cheers
Brian
