We are attracting more and more golfers who want to play with us so it is essential that you book earliest and as soon as you know your travel plans to Spain in order not to be disappointed. Some tough decisions will have to be made for the more popular courses and that may include some regulars!

Welcome everyone to the RACE TO ALICANTE, our 2025 ‘Race’! This officially started at El Valle on 02 Jan’25

FELIZ ANO NUEVO A TODOS LAS AMIGOS wherever you might be and let’s look forward to a successful Golf Year!

The Race to La Finca is now complete and the prize winners will be announced at Roda Golf on 23 Jan’25. Detailed evaluation, confirmation of prizes and availability of Organisers and potential prize winners all need to be time considered.

It is always pleasing to recognise our Amigos golfing efforts and triumphs and cite Dave Robinson and Liz Murty, our Platinum Property Order of Merit winners for the period Sep-Dec’24. Many congratulations, particularly to Liz for back to back wins, and imagine what she could have achieved without a broken hand!

We have simplified the registration process and tightened up the Have I booked process so that it will be easier for you to check on your status. It will be updated far more regularly and should provide more of a convenient check and particularly for our more aging Amigos 😂!

There will be a few changes starting from 1st January 25 regarding booking Amigos games. The form will get smaller / simpler but you will need to use one form for each golfer. No need to worry about already booked 'extra players' as we will sort those out.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all Amigos and best wishes for a prosperous & healthy New Year

CONGRATULATIONS to Ron Weller on achieving a HOLE-IN-ONE on the 7th at Las Colinas

CONGRATULATIONS to our Race to La Finca November winners: Gaiul Duffield 1st, Dave Hughes 2nd and Dan Stallard & Bea van Rijn 3rd.

Congratulations to Steve Watts on achieving his maiden HOLE-IN-ONE on the 14th at Saurines 🎉🍺🍸🍾

Congratulations to our 3 'Race to La Finca' monthly prize winners for October: Dave Robinson (42pts), Mick Lynch (41.3pts) & Bob Lancaster (40.3pts).

We are pleased to see so many of you remitting your green fees via Bank Transfers now. It does ease cash handling and streamlines our service. If you haven’t gotten the hang of it yet please pursue as we are sure that you will find it so simple. We strive to become completely ‘cashless’!

Saturday 30 Nov’24 is going to be a special golf day with a new sponsored Competition, PLATINUM FOURS. A none-too-serious and fun golf competition with food and drinks at the venue on completion where non-golfing partners are welcome too. Register your own 4-Ball of any description and if you are already registered we’ll make up some combos fours for you.

Our Amigos Race to La Finca Golf Party is on Friday 27 Dec’24 and promises to be quite an event culminating in the Grand Prize for the year long Competition. Please do come and play and support the Winners. And there is still plenty of availability on this outstanding and well maintained golf course and at a very good Society price.

Please do check all of your bookings well ahead of Competition Days. Whilst most of you are very helpful we do receive withdrawals upon issue of our Start Sheets which causes us so many problems finding replacements, not to mention Costings changes and Golf Course re-submissions and confirmations. 🙏

The registrations for both Amigos Golfers and non-Golfers for our planned Anniversary Cup Away Day to La Envia, Almeria has fired your imaginations and numbers registered so far indicate that it is going to be another awesome and well supported excursion! All details can be found on the website under anniversary cup.

Many of the remaining Competitions for this year are at capacity but don’t be deterred just send an email to register your interest and we will add your names to a reserve list. We usually have many changes before game day so the chances of playing remain high.

Since opening up our Competition Fixtures List for 2025 we are staggered by the amount of registrations received so far, around 25% of our total for the whole of next year and it is still the beginning of October 2024! Thank you so much for your support and including us in your planned visits

Congratulations to Paul Chamberlain who wins the September Race to La Finca monthly award with 41 points. Congrats also to Willie Custance & Ken Roche who share second place with 40 points.
