To give Amigos a better chance of playing some different courses we have rescheduled a few of our games to different courses. 25/3 game now at Altorreal, 8/4 game now at Font del Llop. A few other game locations have been tweaked so checkout the schedule for latest updates.

Great News, the next couple of games will be back to the normal bookings schedule with La Torre on 04 Mar’21 and El Valle on 10 Mar’21. The 25 Mar’21 visit to Font del Llop is subject to regional restrictions so we might need to select another course within Murcia area. Hopefully not.

Due to the continued restrictions on crossing regional borders, we have had to defer the planned Las Ramblas visit on 25/2 and we have rescheduled the game to Altaona. It is hoped that inter-municipality movement will be eased on 3rd March so we are still hopefully that we will be able to visit La Torre as planned on 4/3.

Yesterday's game at New Sierra was completed safely & securely, with excellent adherence to Covid regulations. Great to be back playing and let's keep it up and keep each other safe.

Following today's announcement that one of our Amigos has tested positive for Covid (asymptomatic) we have decided to cancel tomorrows planned game at El Valle. This is purely precautionary to enable anyone that has been in close contact with the individual to get tested and cleared. Keep safe everybody.

Following yesterday's announcement of the strengthening of Covid-19 restrictions in Murcia, we have decided to cancel Amigos golf games until February, at which time we will review the situation.

The next 2 Amigos matches have ben rescheduled to play at: New Sierra (21/1 & El Valle 28/1), please ensure you book for 28/1 game as that is a new addition to replace the 27/1 Serena Challenge game that had been cancelled.

The Amigos vs Serena challenge match scheduled for 27/1 has now been cancelled and will be played at the end of the year.

Please note that from 07 Jan’21 all our handicaps will have ‘merged’ under the new HRGR/Golden Bear/Amigos arrangement and whichever Society game you play in your handicap will be the same and with reductions and increases applied as per your performance

Amigos will maintain their annual membership fee of €5,00 per person for the coming year irrespective of the number of games played and will be collecting from 07 Jan’21

Congratulations Richard MacDonald on Winning the Sep-Dec’20 Order of Merit trophy, a worthy winner with 187 points

Please note that GNK now have a reciprocal arrangement with La Manga Golf for 2021 whereby GNK members and golf rights holders can play there for €9,00! Quite a deal but beware as that’s only 4 players per day and no Society deals fall into the category’

It is very important that every Amigo let’s us know if there are any changes to their membership status, GNK, UGolf, Spain Federation and or buggy requirements, etc as soon as possible in order to update our database and provide you with our best service

We wish Steve and Claire Egan good luck with their testing following untimely last minute withdrawals from the Altaona Festive Competition. And, what awesome masks they made which surely would have won a prize!

Due to continued inability to travel into Valencia province to play golf, over the Christmas period, out 24/12 Christmas Game has had to be moved to Altaona. Graham is in discussion to arrange something a bit special after the game.

Due to the Torre Pachecho municipality remaining 'closed' we have had to move this weeks game from La Torre to El Valle.

The latest order of 16 new Amigos shirts have just been delivered and will be in Spain, mid January. Anyone that ordered a shirt can collect it at one of the games after that date.

With the extension of the travel restrictions we have rearranged the venue of our next 2 games. The 22/11 game is now at Altaona & 3/12 is now at New Sierra. All previous bookings remain valid so there is no need to rebook.

UGolf have announced that the Saurines course will temporarily close 19/11 until travel restrictions are lifted. Mar Menor remains open 7 days / week 0800-1200 tee times & Hacienda del Alamo remains open Tuesday - Saturday at the same times.
