CONGRATULATIONS to Ken O'Keefe, HR Golf Society Masters Champion 2023 after a magnificent gross 75 at HR on Saturday.

It is with immense sadness that we announce the loss of one of the founder members of HR Amigos. Dave Robinson snr died today in Arrixaca hospital. Although now an occasional player with Amigos he will be sadly missed by many whom he has know for a very long time. Our thoughts & condolences go to Dave's family at this difficult time.

Demand to play in Amigos competitions has been overwhelming and is very flattering. Thank you for your support and patience in waiting to congratulate the winners at the prize ceremonies. Remember to always send us an email if the register for booking games is showing ‘fully booked’. Many changes occur just before game day and you never know?

All Amigos Organisers and Players wish one of our favourite ladies, Liz Murty, the very best of luck with her forthcoming Operation on 18 Apr’23. It’s long awaited and hope to have her playing golf again very soon.

Please help celebrate Golden Bear Golf Society’s 10th Year Anniversary with a matchplay competition against them at Villamartin on Friday 16 Jun’23 and with an evening prizegiving, meal with entertainment back at El Cason, Hacienda Riquelme. Please register soonest whilst we still have places available

It would be greatly appreciated if all Green Fee payments etc can be paid by Bank Transfer for all non GNK games. It does make for a easier Matchday management but you will still be able to pay, with the correct cash, on the day should you experience any difficulties. You will find our Bank Details under the ‘Amigos Info’ Tab on this website.

Amigos Organisers appreciate and acknowledge Iain Stewart’s help in post-game Scorecard adjudication. He will offer rotation and cover whilst Brian Platt is away, supported by Bob Lancaster.

Congratulations Amigo Ron Weller, our Lonrah Champion, who literally walked away with all of the prizes on Easter Monday 10 Apr’23!

Would all Amigos joining us for our exciting Away Day trip to Marina Playa Mojacar note that it isn’t that far away now and that the balance of payments is due at the end of Apr’23. Should anyone still like to join us for our Away Day golf adventure to Marina Playa Mojacar we can still accommodate one or too more.

PLEASE, PLEASE. PLEASE let us know asap if you decide not to renew your GNK membership or if you take a new membership with GNK or any other course in Spain. It saves lots of rework on Start Sheets if our data is correct.

We have today been advised by La Serena that, due to maintenance work, our start on Thursday will be delayed by approx 15 minutes with our first start time now being 12:50.

Congrats to Rob Henshaw on getting his 1st Hole-in-One at yesterday's HRGS game. It wasn't in an Amigos game so it doesn't quite squeeze Rob onto the Amigos Honours board but a fantastic achievement - WELL DONE ROB 👍

The planned game on 1st June has been moved from Hacienda del Alamo to Saurines so Amigos don't lose the opportunity to play there this year.

Due to the fact that Mar Menor currently only has 9-holes open and we would have had to play that circuit twice, we have moved our 23/3 game from Mar Menor to La Serena. No need to rebook as your booking will be automatically moved but do let us know if you want to cancel.

Due to maintenance work being scheduled at La Serena on 11/6 we have moved that game to Altaona. No need to rebook as they will automatically be transferred, but please do cancel your booking if you do not want to play there.

When making your payment for the Anniversary Cup, please ensure you add MOJACAR & <<YOUR NAME>> onto the reference section of your bank payment. We have already received 1 payment where we have no idea as to whom it relates.

GNK have confirmed that from today they intend to keep Hacienda Riquelme open 7 days / week

Pricing details now available for the Anniversary Cup event at Mojacar. Check out the Anniversary Cup tab for details on a 'not to be missed' event.

With current uncertainty regarding the status of Alhama Signature course we have rescheduled previously booked games at that course. Extra games now at La Finca, Hacienda del Alamo & La Torre. Checkout the Fixture List to see the fully updated schedule of 2023 HR Amigos games.

It is with great sadness that we confirm the loss of one of our Amigos. Stephen Hurst passed away after a long battle with illness, on 17th January. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to Tiina at this difficult time.
