Thank you for patience today, it was a long afternoon on the terrace with a lot to get through wasn’t it?  
We had a great Team Competition, an introductory insight into next years Amigos Fixtures, Venues, Special Occasions and Excursions and of course the Amigos Ryder Cup Draw which is now building up your hopes and aspirations for the day and outcome!  At least you now know which Country you are representing!  And, a mere 4 weeks away! Captain America, Diane Nicholls you now embark on your planning as will Captain Europe, Gail Duffield and we look forward to catching up with her next week.
More of this information will follow but concentrating on Today’s competition you all accounted for yourselves very well with most Teams achieving the standard par of 72 with the Double Pairs BetterBall format and the Top 3 doubly so.

Congratulations Carol Brand for a brilliant tee-box shot which claimed the only Nearest the Pin of the Day on the tricky Hole 17.
Claiming one of the most prestigious awards for consistent golf played in the period May-Aug’25 for the Platinum Property Order of Merit, Category 2 was Andrew Smithurst. Well an announcement today as he won't likely be in Spain until early next year and we’ll keep his trophy safely for him when completed until then!
Two more games are left before the Amigos Ryder Cup proper, next week at Alenda Golf, a real golf challenge and generally a course in great condition and where we have an availability and Las Colinas on 11 Sep’25. Please do register for the former and let us know to join the reserve list for the latter.
