Hi all
So, a new venue for many of us, and although it was a bit of a trek, it was definitely worth the 1.5 hour. In addition there was the option of staying over in Benidorm.  An interesting layout and spectacular views of Benidorm in it´s full glory (?) made a great day out.

Individual Category 1
Some good performances from the Cat 1 players, with the large majority achieving 30+ points. Honerable mentions to Steve Burt with 36, and both Colin Aves and Andy Wasik just missing  the podium on higher handicap count back on 38 points. But congratulations to : -

Winner: Russel Fisher 40 points

Runner-up: Jon Thompson 38 points

Individual Category 2
Players in this category struggled a bit more than Cat 1, but there were still some impressive scores. Mentioned in dispatches is Steve Nicholls on 33 points, but the first 2 were a bit ahead: -

Winner: Adam Sperrink 36 points

Runner-up: Graham Whant 35 points

Team Competition 
Well done everyone – 7 out of 8 teams exceeding the standard par of 90 points on 2s and 3s format. The excuse for the team who didn´t is one new hip, one new knee and 1 further knee being replaced in 2 months!  I´m sticking to that.   The result was won by lower total handicap

Runners-up : Team 7 : 99 points
