Hola AMIGOS
Villamartin, what a great venue to start off our Summer Swing!  We are so happy to organise golf events for you when they are so well attended especially at this time of year so thank you everyone who supported the occasion. And it was so good to see so many returnees amongst you regulars.
Today’s heat was tempered by the the cooling breeze which helped good scoring and the fact that circumstances put us on Blue tees, you, in fact, took the course apart!  Just wait and see: -
Individual Category 1
75% of the field scored 30 points or substantially more. That just says it all, doesn’t it?
Honourably mentioned are Mike Harrison, David Henshall-Brown, 36 Stableford points, Martin Trevillion and Damion Cox, 38 points and even Paul Sawyers (h/c 18.5) and Harry Rice (h/c 20.3), 39 points missed out on the prizes!  Well played everyone and especially the top two with the winner joining the Amigos Forties Club:

- Runner-Up : Niall Loftus : 39 Points (h/c 12.0)
Individual Category 2
When you were good you were very very good in this division and Adam Sperrink and Caroline Pickering, 35 points are honourably mentioned along with Graham Whant, 36 points and so sorry Wayne Goodwin, 38 points (h/c 27.1) couldn’t get you in the prizes this week.  Well played all and replicating Category 1 the winner gets his name on the Amigos Forties Club register once again, many congratulations: -

Team Competition 
An honourable mention is included in the this competition round up as this Team just missed out on a slightly higher combined handicap (95), Team 11, Damion Cox, Sean Fyles, Mo Khan and Dave Hughes. Many congratulations and even more plaudits go to the top 3: -

Game 2 of the Summer Swing sees us visit Vistabella next Thursday 10 Jul’25 with an early tee start followed immediately by El Valle, Las Ramblas, Roda Golf, Lo Romero, Villamartin again ( and for the Ryder Cup draw) and Alenda Golf  in early September. Please do not be shy to book as there is plenty of availability at this time of year. Just register or let us know.
