The second Order of Merit event of 2025 drew to a nail-biting conclusion, with the leadership of both divisions changing on the final game. 177 different players competed across 11 games and the 'cut-off' handicap for Division 2 was 19.0, with anyone lower being in the Division 1 category. A total of 40 players managed to complete the full 4 qualifying games with 27 managing to hit the maximum 6 game tally & a further 7 managing 5 games.

Division 2 was a similar story to Division 1 with our top two both coming from the pack on the last day. Dave Hughes's 147 points managed to hang onto third place by virtue of having a better 5th score than Steve Nicholls, who also had 147 points. Rinus de Zwart was even less fortunate as he was pipped for first place  on the same basis, having matched the winning score of 150 points. Rinus was even less fortunate in that he only managed to play 5 qualifying games so that final 6th game could have made all the difference. Congratulations go to our Division 2 winner Andrew Smithurst whose 150 points (and 32 point 5th score) was enough to take the plaudits.

Scoring 40+ points is becoming a habit for you Amigos with 15 (qualifying) scores of 40+ points and Damien Reilly shooting a phenomenal 47 points at Roda. There were also: 1 score of 44pts, 2 scores of 42pts, 5 scores of 41 points, and 6 scores of 40 points.
