The second Order of Merit event of 2025 drew to a nail-biting conclusion, with the leadership of both divisions changing on the final game. 177 different players competed across 11 games and the 'cut-off' handicap for Division 2 was 19.0, with anyone lower being in the Division 1 category. A total of 40 players managed to complete the full 4 qualifying games with 27 managing to hit the maximum 6 game tally & a further 7 managing 5 games.

It was 'all change' in Division 1 with both first & second places going to players outside the top 3 going into the last game. Colin Walters managed to hold onto a podium place by virtue of his 144 points but Sam McReynolds came from nowhere to pip him by 1 point and secure the second place position. Our  eventual winner didnt even need 6 games to post the best score in division 1 as he only completed 5 games, our congratulations go to Gordon Hutchinson, who took the top spot (and his 3rd OOM trophy) with 146pts. 

Scoring 40+ points is becoming a habit for you Amigos with 15 (qualifying) scores of 40+ points and Damien Reilly shooting a phenomenal 47 points at Roda. There were also: 1 score of 44pts, 2 scores of 42pts, 5 scores of 41 points, and 6 scores of 40 points.
