13 NOV 25 RESULT FROM  -  ALTORREAL

Hola  Amigos
What proved to be a very long day, particularly for our Organisers, was created by a glitch in the Golf Course’s booking system for which they profusely apologised and they hope and we hope that the split play list didn’t spoil your enjoyment of this great golf course.  We did lose, quite understandably, a few early starters for the presentation but were so impressed with all of your patience and consideration.
But how was the golf?  Generally your scores proved that you found it really quite ‘challenging’ this week, however there were some notably exceptions: -
Individual Category 1
Mentions can only be awarded to Reg Hole and Colin Walters, 32 Stableford points and two of the podium places were only a couple of shots better.  However, there is no disputing the winner who was clearly a class above everyone else and deservedly enters the Amigos Forties Club, congratulations: -

3rd Place : Steve Jones : 34 points (h/c 15.2)

All Amigos in this Category played well posting some good returns and can honourably mention Rudy Ceusters, Jane McDonald and Harry Rice with 34 points apiece and Nigel Horsfield and Sylvia de Zwart, 36 points.  The scores on the podium places were very good and the winner’s quite exceptional with a best of the day and also well deserving of entry into the Amigos Forties Club: -

Runner-Up : Liz McReynolds : 39 points
3rd Place : Ruud Woudstra : 37 points
Team Category 2
Not such good returns as the first division and I’m sure that the format didn’t suit everyone, however, and a real however, the Ladies Team didn’t just win convincingly they smashed it!  11 under par and 13 shots clear of the field boosted by great individual scores: -
