We did warn you that Altaona Golf was in good condition and very ‘playable’ and today’s Amigos confirmed same after their rounds.  It is so good to have consistent greens and the newer back nine now matching the established front nine.  So how did you play on them?
Individually, we presume well, as pairs very good and as Teams very good indeed with standard par being exceeded by the majority of Teams. And the podium finishers were excellent and the second and third placed Teams could only be separated by virtue of the lowest combined handicaps. Congratulations to all who took part and especially to these Winners: -

The ‘Two’s Pot’ got hammered today with great tee shots from Diane Nicholls, Ron Weller and Paul Best on Hole, 3; Martin Trevillion and Graham Field, Hole 11 and Paul Best again on Hole 17. Some sharpshooting guys!

There’s just two competitions left in the ‘Amigos Summer Swing’, (Great local golf courses, best low season Society Rates available, early morning starts, plenty of availability and Team Competitions), Thursday 20 Aug’26 at Saurines and Villamartin the week after.
