Hola AMIGOS
On a cold and blustery La Finca golf course and well layered with winter clothing you Amigos played some good, some very good and some excellent golf.  No matter what the conditions, however, it’s a great golf venue and always a pleasure to take you there.

Individual Category 1
Generally a very accomplished performance as you would expect from Category 1 Players with 75% returning scores over 31 points and calling ‘honourable mentions’ on 36 points, Simon Thorpe, Jonathan Thompson and Colin Walters is tantamount to that standard. Many congratulations everyone and especially to those mounting the winners podium with an entry into the ‘The Forties Club’!
Winner : James Pearson : 40 points
Runner-Up : Lucy Hole : 37 points (h/c 9.6)
3rd Place : Emmett Loftus : 37 points (h/c15.4)
Individual Category 2
The division in the quality of golf was evident by the returns from these Amigos. Tom Duncan, 30 points, Mary Lynam, 31 points and Sus Tonnisen, 32 points are mentioned. However, it’s not always under par scores that win, lower totals can also pay prize dividends.  Well done all: -
Winner : Henrik Tonnisen : 34 points (h/c 23.4)
Runner-Up : Bob Lancaster : 34 points (h/c 30.5)
3rd Place : Sarah Khan : 33 points
Team Competition 
The Team mix of Category 1 and Category 2 players combined very well to give scores in excess of standard par of 108 points where the best three scores were recorded. Congratulations to everyone in this Competition: -
Winners : Team 7 : 118 points
Sam McReynolds, Steve Cherry, James Pearson and Henrik Tonnisen 
Runners-Up : Team 1 : 116 points
Simon Thorpe, Kevin Scott, Steve Ramsay and Bob Lancaster
3rd Place : Team 5 : 109 points
Klaus Hummel, Graham Field, Chris Dunne and Sus Tonnisen.

Other team scores were: Team 12 = 106pts, Teams 6, 8, 9 = 105pts, Team 10 = 103pts, Teams 4, 13 = 100, Team 3 = 97pts, Team 2 = 95pts, Team 11 = 90pts. 
With excellent Tee shots on the Par 3’s, Lucy Hole, Hole 3; Emmet Loftus, Hole 6, Reg Hole, Hole 13 and Sam McReynolds were today’s Nearest the Pin sharpshooters. ‘Two’s’ were in plenitude with these Amigos, Lucy Hole, Hole 3, Ron Weller and Emmett Loftus, Hole 6; Tony Syme, Hole 13 and Reg Hole, Jonathan Thompson and Ron Weller, Hole 16 recording same. 
Let’s end the year with a great showing at Las Colinas next Thursday and if you haven’t registered already to play one of the best courses in our portfolio please let us know straight away. And if you have no golf plans on New Years Day come and play El Valle with us, the first game of an amazing year of Amigos fixtures.
