You were such a lovely audience today, buzzing with excitement at having played such an amazing golf course with one of the best post-game terraces anywhere!  We are thrilled to see such happy faces and clearly La Finca will always be on our fixture lists. But how good was the golf?  Let’s see: -
Individual Category 1
Actually very respectable indeed, both across the board and with some worthy winning totals. Honourable mentions start at 35 Stableford points recorded by Shane Bordier and Stephen Perkins and also well played, with 36 points, Kevin Scott and Martin Trevillion. Most congratulations go to the podium winners though: -

Runner-Up : Rob Buckey : 37 points (hc. 8.2)
3rd Place : Kirk Green : 37 points (hc. 9.7)
Individual Category 2
Not quite the all round averages of the 1st Division Golfers but there were some good numbers with Rinus De Zwart and Paul Best, 35 points and Dave Hughes, 36 points worthy recipients of the honourable mention title.  Congratulations to those prize winners and to the winner who played the best golf of the day, clearly, and who jumps straight into the Amigos Forties Club and all on his Amigos debut!

Team Competition 
Chasing standard par of 108 points with this format you all made great attempts at achieving this total with half the field even surpassing it so very well played. Honourably mentioned are Team 13, Andy Duffield, Malcolm Weaver, Paul Best and Dave Hughes with 113 points just losing out with a slightly higher combined handicap.  Many congratulations to the winning Teams: -

Other team scores were: Team 13 = 113pts, Team 3 = 111pts, Team 8 = 108pts, Team 12 = 107pts, Team 10 = 106pts, Team 6 = 104pts, Team 2 = 100pts, Team 9 = 98pts, Team 7 = 97pts, Team 5 = 94pts.
Certainly on target on the short game today was Clive Norkett with 2 x Nearest the Pins, Hole 13 and Hole 16 and with the only 2 of the day on the former, well done.  And also to Kirk Green, Hole 3 and Terry Howard on Hole 6.
That’s one spectacular June venue played but next up is Lo Romero next Thursday 12 Jun’25 followed consecutively by Mar Menor, El Plantio, Villamartin and Vistabella, what a treat!  Please do register and let us know if showing ‘fully booked’ as there always seems to be ‘movement’ on the start sheet sheet nearer game day.
