Hola AMIGOS
After 2 weeks of various Team events, we got back to our regular weekly games model at El Plantio, and it was nice to welcome back Bradley Rees & James Bunce. This course is always an Amigos favourite and despite the slightly dodgy greens (that are still recovering from recent hollow-tineing) the course provided a great challenge for everyone.
Individual Category 1
No extreme scoring here with honourable mentions going to: John Thompson & Hans Beque, 34 points; Russell Fisher 35 points and Sam McReynolds 36 points. Two players pipped those scores and duly took the prizes:
Winner : Robert Buckey : 38 points
Runner-Up : Kevin Scott : 37 points
Individual Category 2 
It was a similar story as above, with honourable mentions going to: Carolus Brand 35 points; Graham Field, Liz Murty, Rinus de Zwart & Diane Nichols 36 points.
Winner : Andrew Smithurst : 38 points 
Runner-Up : Mo Khan : 36 points (lowest hcap 25.7)
Team Competition 
Magic 7's is a popular team game and usually gives a wide scoring range. Today was no exception but our top 3 outshined all other teams by a significant distance, all scoring positive double figures. 
Winners : Team 5  : +18 points
Rob Buckey, Steve Fitzpatrick, Carolus Brand & Andrew Smithurst 
Runners-Up : Team 9 : +16 points (lower team shots)
Jonathan Thompson, Ron Weller, Liz Murty & Rinus de Zwart.
Third Place : Team 11 : +16 points
Russel Fisher, Michael McGread, Harry Rice & Diane Nicholls.
Other team scores were: Team 2 = +10pts, Team 7 = +8pts, Team 4 = +6pts, Team 3 = +5pts, Team 8 = +4pts, Team 10 = 0pts, Team 1 = -2pts, Team 6 = -5pts.

The Charity Two’s Pot had another good week with only one claimant. Congratulations to Jon Thompson not only getting the NTP on hole 9 but also tapping it in for his 2, whilst Steve Fitzpatrick took the second NTP on the 18th!
